    Good level of debate guys,

Looks like the vote is pretty evenly split, which suggests on balance Froch is probably P4P# 8-10. He's a bit higher on my list, I'm sure he's a bit lower on some lists

Either way he's a proud warrior for my money

C'mon brits. While your boy froch has gotten better he's no p4p'er
nor will he ever be. He is benefitting off being able to have the momentum
of being in the ring every 3-6 months and against the highest level of
combatant. That keeps you sharp. And......................he had a PERFECT
opponent to look good against. Anyone who thought with their heads
knew froch would win wide if he fought from range against the albiet powerful
but squat and inactive AA. While i do rate froch as world class and a true
world champion. He's not skilled or fast enough to be rated as elite. He'll
lose to ward and he might lose to johnson(not a foregone conclusion to
those of us who have competed and trained in the sport, and really know
it) As much as froch wants to one-up joe calzaghe, it ain't ever gonna happen. Joe was a talent, and also had other intangibles that froch lacks.
In short, it was joe's destiny to acheive greatness.............not so much for
    the cobra.

I'll put froch inside the top 15 to be kind though.

Looks like he will never shed the dirrell question mark.. Is quite straightforward as far as i am concerned - Dirrell fought like a jessy, yes he had some success at times but was way too negative.

Now seeing this was a title fight and one of the fighters didn't exactly want to engage the other and instead concentrated on not engaging.

Can i ask is this a way to win a world title? In a close fight as it was there needs to be reasonable doubt in the champion in order to take away that belt. This wasn't the case that night. Froch deservedly stayed champion and at worse was worth a draw.

And thos who claim ward ahead of froch in pound for pound stakes must be in denial. I am not for one minute saying he isn't as good if not better fighter but... lb4lb is on merit surely then if so ward only fighting in oakland coupled with a very basic resume isn't the correct material for lb4lb. Remember how good we all thought lacey was and there deffo needs to be more questions answered.

Froch may well just be in the top ten on sheer commitment and graft he cannot be faulted. He has some skills too.

I don't see how he can be after his loss to Kessler, if Froch is in the top 10, then Kessler shoudl be above him as he beat him fair and sqaure. Also do you really think Froch would beat Dirrell in a re-match? I can't see it

Almost split down the middle this one!
Whatever you think about the cobra he's earned the respect of boxing fans around the world.

The big shame for me is he's lumbered with that fat useless sack of **** mick hennessey!

55/45 in favour of the Cobra at time of going to press!

Makes him borderline top 10 P4P material in the eyes of ESB

    Keep the comments coming
    cheers

Yeah, maybe just makes it in ... but to be honest 7-10 is highly contested at the moment.

    Top5:
    Manny Pac
    Floyd Mayweather Jr
    Sergio Martinez
    Juan Manuel Marquez
    Wladimir Klitschko

Jostling For Position Till Their Fight:
    Fernando Montiel
    Nonito Donaire

    Then 7-10, you could have
    Juanma Lopez
    Carl Froch
    Andre Ward
    Shane Mosley
    Vic Darchinyan
    D.Alexander
    Bradley
    Pong Wonjongkam
    Davey Haye

It's quite hard to justify some of those being over others. For instance, Hayes opponents for his last two fights haven't been great but he's clearly still a top p4p guy.
