Pavlik got in for a win against Taylor + Miranda!!!

Froch only has a a disputed loss to Kessler in Denmark......Marquez is in there and he is forgiven for losses to Chris John + Freddy Norwood

SO yes he is in at Nr 8 for me at least.....tell me who has a better resume from the past 3 years?

    Second to that.

His competition is absolutely top level, but he was less impressive against Taylor than Pavlik before and Abraham after him. Got a very lucky decision against Dirrell. Loss to Kessler, very gutsy performance, but a loss against a fighter who came off a loss. Huge win over Abraham. So, two somewhat lucky wins, one loss, one huge win, not enough to be up there yet. A win over Johnson and he is borderline top 10. Two wins in a row (convincing wins) and he is top 5 - 8.

Except Froch, who really disputed that loss against Kessler?

Pavlik KO'd Miranda and Taylor when they were never KO'd before. Froch's resume is great in terms of quality of opposition, but in his last four fights, he only asserted himself as the clearly better man against Abraham. Taylor, Dirrell, Kessler were all fights without a clear answer as to who the better fighter is/was.

How do you go 1-2 in your last 3 fights and end up in the p4p top 10 lol! Brits are just really really dumb when it comes to boxing.

Obviously not. He lost to Kessler the fight before last. He's not even in contention.

No. A convincing win over Glen Johnson might get him there.

I don't think he can be there yet. He lost to Kessler in a close fight and may have lost against Dirrell as well but got a hometown decision. He didn't look good against Taylor, but at the end he managed to pull the KO. His win over Pascal is good. His Abraham win is his best performance in the elite level.
