    Yes it includes Froch, he's effective with that style but it's only one style.

    Spot on. What is noticeable now is Sky's overbearing efforts to put Froch across as an unquestionably special fighter. On the night of the Mack fight, Steve Collins was clearly made to feel uncomfortable by Nelson haranguing him about previously having raised questions about Froch's ability. Given that Ward wiped the canvas with him until Ward started gassing, questions about Froch's ability have been fair enough. At the same time, McCrory and Nelson eulogised about Froch to the extent that McCrory said you 'just have to enjoy him while he's around' in the sense that we may never see his like again!

    I don't think Froch is overrated by proper boxing fans and people on this forum. But Sky's boxing team are going well over the top and clearly don't like any dissenting voices.

    He wasn't anywhere near as bad as he is now. Since the Hearn partnership, I'm seeing Eddie jumping in the ring exploding his load 5 mins to early, his missus pouting at the camera, PR bombardment in the mainstream. Eddie and his missus stood either side, pointing their fingers at him to the camera like he IS Floyd Mayweather.

    Come on Ward, just knock this bloke and his team back into reality. IF they take the 2nd fight. Can Kessler even do it? COME ON KESSLER!

    Someone said earlier, Carl got "Lacy'd".....couldnt have put it better myself. Utterly well and truly exposed by Andre Ward. Carl looked like a fish out of water and out of his depth....and he even had the nerve to raise an arm at the end of the fight like he won it. :lol:

    Before the fight he was all talk about knocking Ward out, but like always, its a different story at this level when your in the ring. :deal

    Carl struggled to give Andre any real credit and it was almost like he was in denial. He thought he won it, "NOBODY beats The Cobra."

    I used to follow Froch a lot before he got in bed with Matchroom. I appreciate he had to make that step to get in the public eye. But he sold himself out in the process.

    I still say to this day say Joe would have done a number on The Cobra. I still think Joe could get himself in tip top condition now and give Carl a boxing lesson over 12.

    He's alright Carl....but he aint that good. And by the looks of it, many people believe that and have done for a while also. What would Tyson Fury call Carl Froch if they fell out? Because "big stiff idiot" just doesnt cut it!

    Andre Ward was getting in 3-4 punches as Carl was still hanging out a lazy jab. :lol: Class above.

    The reality is the Ward scorecards were terrible and he was thorougly outclassed from start to finish. Other top fighters like Calzaghe and Jones would dominate him from start to finish, even worse.

    Carl Froch is not a special talent. What he does best is work incredibly hard to come ready to fight a really hard dog fight AND he is spurred on by the delusion that he is better than he is. Most boxers don't train as hard as they should nor are they as confident as say, and that includes the talent ones like Judah etc Froch lacks that sort of talent but shows you how far hardwork and belief can take you. Even his power has been found wanting on the elite level and that was one of the things people thought he had going for him.

    totally agree,there are only a handfull world wide who have that talent.
    but in my eyes froch is talented,he is just a ugly talent,not prettyboy posie too watch,but very effective in what he does,better than nearly all the SM in the world at this time :deal
    not bad if you ask me,thats just me though,froch is how i like my fighters :bbb:bbb

    sorry forgot to say,maybe to you and a few others thought cards were out :huhto me he got beat,just beat,boxers all over the world get beat,its not a schooling like cal gave lacy or a complete twating like mayweather give gatti he just got beat :deal

    Good post again mate, on the money.

    Carl is a good fighter in his own right and its that true grit and hard work before a fight that 9 times out of 10 means he wins the fight. He looks world class in fights where his opponent comes in to fight his fight. But the fact is, when he fights someone who comes in wiser and smarter, he is made to look average at best.

    I know he has a fanbase, but even they shouldnt delude themselves, Carl Froch isnt THAT good or as good as they make out promoting him.

    But the fact is, thats only intensified since he teamed up with Matchroom, the arrogance has intensified. Thats why I said, before he used to be underrated, now he is being OVERrated. Carl thinks he is the dogs b, Eddie thinks he is the dogs b and so does his missus. Fair play on that one and on the support, but he really isnt the dogs b.

    Andre Ward is. :deal
