I think Froch is loved oh here because he hasn't got the fame that someone like Haye or Khan has.

If Froch has the fame of then you can bet that the people that hate the likes of Khan/Haye would hate on this guy, because in all honesty he talks just as much so called "crap".

But me personally I like hime just as I like Haye & Khan.

Froch is talented just not special at anything physically. I give him complete credit for being so mentally strong and you can see even more strength with the way he came back from the loss to Ward. It's very impressive.

Imagine if Dirrell possessed Carls mental strength and doesn't **** himself? Carl is lucky to then win a round.

Imagine if Pascal worked as hard as Carl and had his fitness, didn't mindlessly trade and wasn't a front runner - Carl probably loses that one too.

Same for Taylor. Those fighters have more glaringly obvious talents in their speed, reflexes, agility, co-ordination etc

I just wish more fighters worked as hard as Carl, were as confident and thus fought the best and gave their best. Carls lack of special talent exposes boxing. The lack of competative architecture/governing body sees a host of fighters not fufilling their potential. If you look at a sport like tennis or football, this wouldn't be possible and thus you tend to see talent go as far as it can.

In Ward, he simply meets a fighter who combines the talent, smarts and skills to best him. The reality is, there aren't many fighters out there like that. Boxing is littered with fighters lacking in areas we consider the fundamentals of being a boxer - confident and hard working.

For example, most fighters who have been stopped haven't been knocked clean out but instead have made the decision to call it a night but sometimes masquerade behind a knockdown. I couldn't imagine Carl doing that because of that mental strength.

aye i agree mate,he aint no ali,but he is very good with what he has got.

being a ex boxer at club level amature i know how hard it is,ive trained/sparred with pro's who got to area level and were really really good fighters,so to get to where froch has got he has something special, and 'being schooled' gets right on my tits :D

I agree with that. It looks easy but moving through the levels is incredibly difficult. There are a tonne of decent amateur fighters who work hard and give it a real good go and their records are journeyman like.

    3 time world champ!
You dont reach those levels by being not that good.
Like most of your posts are not that good, but you beleive they are and keep posting in the belief that you hold amazing opionions and knowledge. So it seems that you and Froch are actually very similar!! Except you dont have a fanbase.

Froch is this era's Bazooka Limon in a way.A real overachiever

His skills are shite, he's slow and far from a great overall talent, but he's tough, mentally strong and awkwardly effective against other flawed fighters in the way that Ruiz used to be(but far better to watch), fights everyone and makes for great bouts.

Easy to see why he's well liked.

Tell me and him (moe) it aint so, fanboy. :hey

In fact, dont, we know what the response is!

If you cant take your super duper pink cobra glasses of, and the "I Love Carl Froch" T-shirt of, DO NOT comment Dean. :good

If you CAN remove those, then please prove Moe's points wrong.

While they may be a bit extreme. The truth is the truth.

Craney, you dont have much knowledge about boxing, one day i might educate you.
froch is a 3 time world champion.
All the fighters in Moes list are the best opposition froch could of fought, you cannot argue with that.
If you want to agree with moe, fine, shows how thick you two are.
Your not even on my level, so i will leave it there.

I would say that Froch is an over achiever, but if you dare to put yourself in there, you'll often find yourself rewarded.

It's harsh to say he's got no skill - he outboxed Pascal with ease once he'd stopped being 100% macho, he outboxed Kessler at times, and laid waste to Abraham and Bute.

He's a serious proposition for pretty much any 168lb'er ever. So long as their name isn't Andre Ward, James Toney or Roy Jones.
