Wins over Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Abraham and then Johnson and P4P Oakland King Ward must surely put Froch in top 20?

No, he is not. A good resume at 168 doesn't make you an all time great.

Great performance the other night though!

Froch would need beat Johnson, Ward, Bute, Pascal and then make a couple of defenses of the LHW title before even thinking about becoming an ATG.

No, Bailey says he's in a weak division.

Plus you have to dismiss any of victories against Americans because they're all overhyped bums.

Top 20? I hope u don't mean all time ... please don't jump to that conlusion ... he can an alltime great but he has to do way more than say andre ward ... reason being he does nothing special ... he has a ton of heart ... he's not knocking the world out ... he's not a defensive wizard ... he's got a lot of faults ... so he's going to have to do it the hard way ...

Perfect example: Ward might get the Roy Jones treatment ... while Froch might have to go thru the Benard Hopkins route

    Let's calm down a bit.

You can argue he's the #1 SuperMiddleweight at the moment and should be in the P4P lists but that's a long way from what it takes to be an ATG.

Pascal: Green as hell at the time.

    Taylor: Pavlik's left overs.

Dirrell: Little more than a good prospect at the time.

Abraham: Always over rated as a fighter can get.

Johnson: Old guy who nearly always loses the big ones.

Ward: Has one decent win, but Kessler was half blind at the time.

Carl has a solid resume', maybe the best in the division right now, but he is a long way from ATG material. Even though Froch's resume' is steadily improving, it's really easy to play "devil's advocate" and turn his resume' to ****.

He lost to Kessler. he has still yet to face Ward or Bute. Without a win vs both of them he has zero chance to be P4P.

He's p4p right now ... he has a better resume than nonito donaire, juan manuel lopez and arguably timothy bradley ... all 3 are considered top 10 p4p right now by the ring .... his resume is impressive... considering he does nothing special and is fundamentally horrible its a great resume ... but that's just my opinion

Top 3 all time at least, after Lennox Lewis and Jimmy Wilde.
