crazy how biased the media is, 117-111 you have no chance of winning vs the chosen fighters

I'm been saying it for ages, choclatito p4p 1 is an insult to a real boxing fan, did anyone ever believe that?

Rigondeaux at 118 would destroy him!

cuadras won by a couple of rounds

I too had Cuadras beating Roman, but the psychological association of the 0 is very strong unfortunately. Like, I had Castillo, Oscar, Maidana, and Pacquiao beating Floyd, but Floyd is officially undefeated.

Rigondeaux would destroy him but Gonzalez has titles in 3 weight classes already 118 would be another weight class where he would be undersized.

While I didn't score it, it did look like Gonzalez won most of the rounds. Cuadras is a special athlete but he just got beat by a smaller guy. It's hard to call a guy who just got beat by a smaller man #1 p4p. I was really impressed by Cuadras and thought that he gave Gonzalez the hardest fight of his career, even harder than Estrada. He did so well that it makes me doubtful whether Gonzalez can beat the even larger stronger Naoya Inoue at that weight.

Cuadras is a very good boxer, exactly what you would expect from a fighter who was 35-0 and held a title for two and a half years. I look forward to seeing more from him in the future. But he obviously lost to Chocolatito. He had his moments, he put up a hell of a fight, and he was stronger at the end, but he still lost the fight.

What's wrong with Gonzalez being considered the best pound for pound fighter in the sport ? He has fought and beat top level opposition like Niida,Takayama,Garcia,Rodriguez,Estrada,Yaegashi,Fuentes,Sosa,Viloria,Arroyo and now Cuadras and he is a extremely skilled fighter with a great arsenal of weapons and a solid defence. Also the Cuadras fight was close ,but Gonzalez for me won it 8-4 with his cleaner shots and pushing the fight.[/QUOTE]
