I know that Wlad's dance card is filled for most of this year, but with his beating Rossy in an eliminator, is he a mandatory for the IBF title? Someone suggested that he has to face the winner of Peter vs Maurice Harris to be the IBF mandatory.

    Anyone know for sure?

No, he will have to face winner of Peter-Harris in the final eliminator.

Unfortunately Chambers can't beat K2 so he's just going to recycle. Let's see if Adamek and Haye can do better.

If he wanted to win a HW strap, he should've fought Vitali, imo. A much better stylistic match-up for him.

no, the title eliminator was just the ibf collecting extra sanctioning fees.

    Povetkin
    Haye
    Adamek

All "better than Chambers", all "have a better chance to beat the Klitschkos"... yet all have refused to fight them (yeah yeah, I know about Adamek, but he could've had the shot a while ago). I'd put money on none of them making it as many rounds as Eddie had. Anyway, I think Chambers is the clear cut #6 in the division.

He was offered a shot immediately after the Arreola fight (potentially beforehand, too). That's how.

Chambers-Rossy was like a half-eliminator (the other half being Peter-Harris).

So he's like a half-mandatory now...and Peter and Harris are both quarter-mandatories for the time being.

See? The IBF can be just as screwed up as the rest when they put their mind to it. :yep

Wlad should throw the belt in trash can and publically pee on it.

Two guys that he has already destroyed in a tourniment with two journeymen to see who gets to figth him next. This is a new low for boxing, and that is really saying something.

Well, the original line up IBF wanted was Boytsov, Banks, Dimitrenko and Mormeck. Boytsov declined and was replaced by Chambers. Not sure about the rest.

They were already off to a bad start with JMM in there. :yep

Chambers is still a better contender than Boytsov, though. (but Boytsov might have more upside).

Wait. That means, if Peter beats Harris and Chambers, he´s getting another shot at Wladimir??
