The fact that a british heavyweight title fight is on terristial is great. Wether is a success or not remains to be seen. Anyone remember williams vs harrision on itv. It was expected to be a brawl, and possibly the worst advertisment for the sport possible.

But dont expect a mass advertising campaign. I can guarentee that henessey is paying for all the ads on the channel, so dont expect many. This will be a "prove what you can do" risk by channel 5. If its a **** fight, with an undercard of **** fights, dont expect another show on the channel anytime soon.

I have feeling that the channel arent looking for massive viewing figures, hence the fact it isnt even on their website yet (as far as i know). They're looking to back one of the fighters imo. If one wins big, by ko expect their next fight to be on the channel.

I honestly reckon channel 5 are testing the waters with this fight, if its a good show. Expect at least the winner to be on channel 5 again.

Yeah it has great potential. As others have it could be a good home for Hennessey and Fearon cards. Plus Brian Peters cards. They could should put these on Friday nights, unless it is a double header with a PPV on Primetime - in that case - Saturday night.

Sky have the Fury-Delboy fight listed in their fixtures, so have C5 pulled out?

No, the fixtures list isn't a list of their live fights.

Channel 5 aren't gonna be able to help Primetime sales much if at all. How on earth are they gonna be able to show Chisora/Fury on C5 at UK 'prime time' for free then say "oh if you fancy staying up another 5 hours, you can pay £15 to watch Khan v Judah..."

This can only be good and it's a decent fight to start boxing back on normal tv. If anyone can ruin it though it's fat mick.
