The competition certainly is stiff. Off the top of my head, Robinson's run from 1943 to 1951 would definitely have a say and there are of course others. But the level of competition Charles faced, often giving up weight, while only suffering one loss, which The Ring claimed was a robbery, surely puts this run among the great ones.
