Yeah it'd do good numbers but Zurdo would smash Chavez Jr. to pieces.

I am willing to bet good money that Jr won't last at 175. He doesn't have the punch for the division that has guys like Kovalev, Baterbiev, Stevenson and Gvozdik

 You can substitute Canelo's name for Chavez jr. and have the same result. Both fighters want a BIG WEIGHT advantage, and as they get older, cutting weight gets more difficult.

:rofl One fighter QUIT in his corner, the other fighter QUIT and wouldn't enter the ring.

:hey Old saying... once a DOG quits fighting... shoot him... he's done.

:p Granted, these two aren't dogs but... retirement is not too far down the road, for either of them.

    ;)

JCC Jr. was never that good to begin with. His defense actually seemed to get better as he went along, slowly improving his version of the crab style, but he was never all that. His size advantage and chin made him and once he lost the size advantage, it was clear his chin may not have been ATG after all.

Yes, he badly hurt an exhausted Martinez, but was unable to finish him even though Martinez was all man and refused to hold. He gets no credit for that last round rally. Good riddance to bad rubbish. All of that said, I'd love to see him worked over by the Ward/Kovalev winner and retired for good, but I'd hate to see him get that pay day.
