That is like comparing a turd to a pollywaffle. Some similarities, sure, but one is **** the other is great.

Sr was a champion at 22 years old and 43-0 when he got his title shot. Jr is going on 24 and not even close to getting an IBO title shot.

Arum is in a pickle with this guy. As soon as he starts improving he grows into another weight class and he has to start all over again. Chavez just doesnt look right to me. Hes pitifully slow and robotic, and if he continues at middleweight I cant see him ever getting out of the tomato can circuit.

I like how he is being developed. He had no amatuer background. He strarted at 18 or 19. He is not his father. He is not expected to be his father take it easy. Senior's first 30 fights were probably worse than Junior's. I'm pretty sure Senior's fights in Mexico had guys with only a handleful of fights or guys with awful records. Atleast junior is developing against guys that are not very good but are not total bums with awufl sub .500 records the guy was like 25-2 or something like that. Not like records matter but he was not a complete no hoper. Give him another 5 years or so. People expectt the world from the less talented juniors of the world. We try and rush these guys into Marvises into title shots wherethey get their careers ruined.

40-0 & still fighting bums! I'm looking forward to watching Duddy bust him up almost as much as watching Pacman liquidate PBF.
