    Do we know he was rich or do we assume he was rich because his father made a lot of money at times? Because a lot of boxers lose their money very fast due to gambling or poor investments. As far as I know Roy Jones Jr who probably made a lot more money than Chavez Sr, is still fighting due to financial problems.
