    My guess is because it's the HW div. and this division resonates with casuals. They've had this tourney on there site and mentioned in the mainstream press a little.

    WBA HW titles are descending into junk status ... and it's in there interest to at least make it look like thy have some cred. if only for the sake of casuals who at the end of the day generate the really big bucks fights.

  5. So say Fury beats Klitschko again decideds to fight let's say, David Haye for example.

    WBA get 3% of that. And that will generate millions.

    And they continue to earn with Ortiz v has beens, and domestic level fighters and get 3% of that because they are now getting revenue from TV for him too.

    Do you really think the WBA will say to Fury if you fight Haye rather than Ortiz you are stripped?
