According to the news for fights, Humberto Gonzalez is planning to come out of a TWELVE-YEAR retirement (age 41 now) to fight another way past-his-prime former champ, Rosendo Alvarez (age 37).

Of course, the WBC sees some money in this so they will sanction the fight.

    Comments.

    Shocking!

Chiquita Gonzalez is already a hall of famer and a great warrior. He has nothing left to prove. Both he and Alvarez are past it.

I have no interest to see it and I don't think it should happen

Carbajal is one of my all-time favorite fighters, and their fights were legendary...whose legacy/accomplishments do you consider better?

They might need the money that's why they have to fight again.

No interest to see this at all, I'm sure many others will though.

Good point and it's safe to say that whoever wins will continue fighting, that always happens.

damn man, they are just putting themselves in danger of being brutally hurt.

but then i really can't blame them. i guess they probably have no money left because they were paid with peanuts in their days
