The nickname "Gatekeeper" is much better than "Legend"; realistically.

Chisora hosing Wlad's face down with a stream of water, saliva, and halitosis is eternal.

    Legend indeed.

All I am demonstrating is Pulev takes a strong shot because Chisora can punch. The idiot @MarkusFlorez99 was trying to make it out that Chisora’s performance in defeating Pulev diminishes AJ’s legacy when it does the opposite .

This may be the only time I ever agree with you. @MarkusFlorez99 is indeed an idiot — Top 3 P4P on this forum. He doesn't believe that a winner of a fight can take damage.

There's also a British slang aspect to the word "legend" - hard to define precisely, but it's a mark of respect for effort and/or personability.

Sure, he's not an ATG fighter, but he's always been one to put the effort in and have a go and there's something about that you just have to respect.

He's not ever going to hold a top title and he never was... But the division will 100% miss him the moment he's gone, and that makes him an absolute legend in my book.

Do you think you have to be great to be a legend then? I think too many people think legend = great. It doesn't.

Would you consider Jerry Quarry a legend? What about David Tua, or Sam Langford? These guys never won a title, but they're still considered legends in boxing. I think Chisora did enough, and fought enough high level opposition to be considered a legend in the sport.

Tua's punching power is the stuff of legend. So yes Tua is a legend in that sense but as many here have already said, Legend does not equal great.

Chisora has a quality about him, very old school, tough and fights anyone.

He's a legend the same way the guy at the pub who does 10 shots of absinthe, then goes on the bull riding machine, is a legend.

    Chisora is an absolute legend.

That doesn't make it true though does it?
It's social media......nothing more to add.
We like people who try in the UK and Chisora is game and happy to fight and is entertaining so he deserves the payday he hasn't many left at this point.
