Is Chocolatito getting a pass for fighting soft touches and not Inoue & Estrada?!

What El Chicano is Chocolatito too dark a shade of Latino for you?

I see no need for an Estrada rematch, Inoue isn't a big enough star at the moment in the US, Inoue's supposedly going to make his debut on HBO this year, they need time to build towards that megafight.

Gonzalez/Estrada is being worked on for later in the year, when Gonzalez makes his debut as an HBO headliner. (provided he wins in April ofc)

Both guys wanted 7 figures for the fight, so it couldn't be on an undercard. As a note, both guys deserve a million for the fight and frankly it deserves to be a headliner anyhow.

As CST said, HBO wants Inoue to appear sometime soon. If all goes well, will be Gonzalez "big" 2017 fight. Or maybe Estradas big 2017 fight, because he might beat Roman.

Sosa and Viloria his last two were very good wins. Those guys were great old champions, not soft touches at all. This next guy, boxrec has him at #12 in his division so that's not great, but it's far from the worst defense in recent years. I'd like to see Roman Gonzalez fight Inoue, but Inoue says he isn't ready. He already beat Estrada, and he's said that he would fight him again for a million dollars. Since he's worth it, I don't see what the hold up is, except that he's earning a fraction of what he's worth. He probably won't be seeing more than 500-750k for this next bout so I think that is a good opponent for that level of money. We're used to seeing the #5 guy in the division fight the number #20 guy for 2 million dollars. Gonzalez just doesn't make enough money for me to criticize him for weak opposition, and besides a lot of his defenses weren't so weak.

That #12 is deceptive having lose a close split decision vs undefeated spoiler Ruenroeng for IBF - who also beat Ioka. Arroyo might not be a superstar, but he is a legit contender.

Before Giovani Segura became "another Viloria victim" he was 28(25KOs)-1-1, ranked top 10 p4p by Ring Magazine, coming off two knockout victories over the great Ivan Calderon. As for Hernan Marquez, he's a former flyweight titlist who was in some epic wars.
