I just popped my head out my office and shouted to the underlings if they know who Amir Khan is. 5 kids, all around mid 20s. 4 of them just looked puzzled and 1 said "isn't he that Indian actor?"
He's the guy that got knocked out by Danny Garcia, and the guy who looked like hell against Peterson and was out on his feet for the last 3 rounds of the Maidana match, and oh yeah worked with Freddie Roach Manny Pacquiao's trainer. As for casuals no one knows who the hell he is.
not as good as gavin imo tell me who caged chris had fought as khan fans like to say before provo and anyone saying emmanuel taylor gtfoh gavins record is better than caged chris imo
I'm picking Chris Algieri to win easily. Look at Breidis Prescott: he's physically very similar to Algieri (long legs, long arms and just a very rangy fighting style). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shUqYIkMXu0
Gavins biggest win is against a shot to pieces Junior Witter. Provo and even Taylor are better wins than that
Manny and Mayweather are the ONLY elites between 100-154. At 160-168 you got GGG, Ward, Froch, and Kovalev, and at HW youve got Klitschko. No one else falls under that category, YET:think Algeri is A level, FOR NOW, due to his wins over B levels in Taylor and Mighty Mike, and his A level win over Provo. Not much else there but his loss to Pac and taking back to back cashouts...... Lets see if he beats Khan. If he does, he cements his A level status, but still needs about 4-5 more titlists/former titlists to cement elite status.:think
Wow so much wrong in this. Hope it's all one big joke. Have to go to sleep. I'll tackle annihilating this post tomorrow.
Contrary to popular belief, Amir Khan is not a good boxer. His style is basically a gimmick: in and out, in and out. The difference between him and Pacquiao is that Pacquiao is capable of doing much more than just that. Khan is a one-trick pony. In this fight, I tell you that Khan lost the first two rounds: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IFJ_2cRDAsA Just look at how many power shots Garcia lands in the first two rounds. Angel Garcia's strategy was to throw power punches while Khan was attacking. That of course means that Danny had to take some punches to land his own (more powerful) shots. The fight quickly turned into a battle of attrition, which Khan couldn't possibly win. Chris Algieri is bigger than Amir Khan, and he is perfectly capable of doing this to Khan. In fact, his long range should make it even easier than it was for Garcia.
Yeah, Im sorry, I forgot Frankie s****ed a decision against Bradley Skeete...that changes everything...
