There's something there with Arreola; talent, a willingness to fight and take risks, but you wonder what his dedication to the sport really is beause although he has some skils, he still has much to learn and not to mention the extra pounds he carries around which will probably hinder him at some point in his career.

For now he's just an exciting contender to watch.... but will he ever take that extra step in his career and become a champion? I don't know. It's all up to him and how lazy he allows himself to be.

Arreola could become a future HW champ as long as he didn't fight a Klitschko.

Honestly, Arreola is far more of a skilled puncher than Sam Peter and if people can't see that, then I cannot continue to discuss boxing in this thread with them. Arreola may be fat and out of shape, but the man has serious skills, power, and youthness.

A lot of people are down on Arreola, however I think he has the tools to
    go far in this division.
The heavyweights aren't all that talented....you have one set of brothers that punch and hold and then that Neanderthral Valuev and the rest of the ilk.
Disappointing division...nothing very exciting that makes your stomach drop when you think of an up coming match.
It appears that we just try to make the best of what is out there!!!!
That is a sad situation for boxing fans....who deserve much better.

Chambers vs Denis Boytsov would be a great match, boxer vs puncher. Of course Chambers has to get by Dimitrenko first.

    Boystov would stop Chambers.

Arreola is the best American heavyweight. It would be good for him to work harder in the gym and to quit eating Kirk Johnson's doughnuts.
