Jnr looked like he'd been taking boxing lessons from Manuel Charr last night. head first charge in and see what you hit with wild swings.

Has a good chin and plenty athleticism, aggression and energy. Ring IQ and generalship not quite world class.

Despite being a hypejob he has some world class attributes. Let's not degrade Groves' stellar boxing display. He shut Eubank down and made it his fight.

He's good but he's no Jeff Horn, that's for sure.

Yes and no. He's an odd case. There's something there, and his attitude to physical exertion is great, but his attitude to learning seems to stink, and he's not going to get the best out of himself that way. I think part of it is that he wants to look stylish, when he'd be better served by a more functional approach. Picking up one's gloves and forming a guard might not look as sexy, but then, the posturing and posing has only looked sexy against C and D level guys up 'til now anyway.

The ship has likely sailed in terms of building a solid, professional style upon his raw assets, though. He couldn't find a recipe to defeat a brittle, shopworn Groves, and I don't see a better opportunity to make a real splash in his future.
