How serious is his illness? If he does fight again, who could he fight.

Personally, i think he should have called it a day after beating Benn.

He will be fed to Jake Paul for his comeback fight.

All he wants is loot and loot is what Paul delivers in huge bags.

    I hope not.

He’s had a good career and earned a fortune in those last two Benn fights. He may not want to bow out on a loss but unfortunately, he’s absolutely finished. He hasn’t been the same rugged and relentless fighter for years but what we saw in the last fight with Benn was a shadow of himself.

He is finished. He fought on one fight too long.

You do not half arse boxing, its a dangerous sport when you do.

He won't get a tenth of the purse of his last two fights if he returns. He's dramatically shot, along the lines of Haye against Bellew, Leonard against Camacho and Roy Jones for the last years of his career. The Eubank who fought Spike O'Sullivan would have hammered both those guys in the ring at Tottenham on the same night.

And no doubt took a hell of a lot less punishment than had he fought GGG

Moving down in weight in your 30’s never ends well.

Making 157 for the fight Benn popped dirty and the various rehydration clauses have damaged his punch resistance.

The state of Eubank on the scales that week, all got forgotten after the drug test. Always assumed that marginally better weight terms for the 2nd and 3rd fights were Matchroom's way to avoid being sued over the first one. It would have been fun seeing Benn defend himself in an actual courtroom and not an arbitration hearing where better lawyers win.

But not half as fun as seeing him defend himself against a healthy eubank at a reasonable weight, there’s just no way that Benn would have handled a more prime eubank with no weight clauses/restrictions and his team , and probably him himself deep down, knows it, which begs the question what actual credit do Benn and the team hope to get from a win against that version of Eubank?

How the 2nd fight even got past the bbb of no control I’ll never know

For me Eubanks absolutely done, should 100% have retired after the first benn fight but couldn’t let that money get away, same as if he got offered a fight now for big money he’d probably take it

Why would he fight someone like ggg who could genuinely hurt him when he can’t make more money fighting a pillow fisted benn.

    Absolutely

One thing you have to give Eubank credit for is how he has managed his career
