Is Chris Eubanks Jr a STEP-UP or a STEP-DOWN for Golovkin

It's a solid list, but I can't see why Lee should be over Lemieux. N'Dam is still a top 10 fighter, and Lemieux went through him plus Guerrero and Rosado. Lee's best win is Korobov. I do agree with Lee over Quillin, though. Quillin getting KO'd in 1 hurts him a lot.

I can dig Eubank Jr. over Heiland. I just can't see a rationale for having Korobov in the top 10 right now. I'd have Khurtsidze there.

 

Very true. American level MW is a bit of a joke. Euro level is easily better at the moment. If we're going by the Wade fight, Eubank Jr. is a gigantic step up. Eubank Jr. is probably a slight step up from Monroe Jr.

The thing is we don't know Monroe Jr.'s true potential. Dude seems like he could give lots of dudes trouble.

 

TBRB's rankings are terrible. They didn't eve know that Cotto and Geale shouldn't be ranked at MW anymore.

 

What does he do then Shock?

Does he drop his titles and chase the SMWs for 5 yrs, winning all 4 titles without beating any of the former titlists.

Eubank is a solid concensus top 10, a probable top 1-5 both at both 60 and 68 in the coming yrs, and will definitely become a titlist just as soon as GGG loosens the noose on the division.

Now, should someone like Andrade, Spence or Lubin come up, he'll almost instantly drop down the list, but it's a good chance that Eubank will be looking for fights at 168 long before Spence and Lubin move up, and Andrade will want to go for a vacant title that GGG passes down, so, Eubank wouldnt be his best fight. :think

Eubank jr only "Euro level"? Golovkin is from Eastern Europe.Golovkin being the best middleweight in the world, "Euro level"cant be all that bad,can it.

 

CEJ is only Euro level because he's too scared to step up in competition. In fact, he stepped down from Euro level to domestic level for who knows what reason.
