Undefeated as a professional boxer with the record of 47 wins, 0 losses and 2 draws.

He's the current WBA (Super) featherweight champion. He defended his title 16 times over the course of 8 years.

He avenged both of his draws against Juarez and Rojas.

Notable wins: Juan Manuel Marquez, Daud Jordan, Rocky Juarez, Hiroyuki Enoki & Derrick Gainer.

    Poll Above

    Thoughts?

He'll probably get in but he's a waster IMO.He could have made much more of his career and I don't buy that "he's happy where he is" ****.
I think yes but I'm not voting because I don't like the way he operates.

He's put up very similar numbers to Eusebio Pedroza (who wasn't all that highly regarded till later on in his career, it should be noted) and he's a got victory over JMM (disputed though it may be by many, though not all, posters). Would have been nice to see a couple more names that people recognize, but in terms of what he's accomplished in his career, I say he's likely to get in at some point.

Well, If he get's in, then Pong should get in.

Both get by the quantity not quality approach.

There's some quality in both cases. But yeah, I would say both are in due to the numbers they put up during the course of their respected reigns. For that matter, Veerapol Sahaprom should get in as well.

    Now that you've mentioned yeah.

The guy got 18 defenses(i think) and among them includes the best fighter at 122 lb today. Nishioka.

And he won his first title with less that 5 fights. If that means something.

He will get in. Pongsaklek will get in as well. I think over time Sven Ottke will get in, even though I will disagree with his inclusion.

I disagree. I think he made the most of the talent he had by hiding in indonesia and fighting mainly out of his own hometown.

I dont think John gets past alot of the opponents Marquez, MAB, and Morales have.

John is a little bit better than a 2nd tier fighter and the best he could have done is stay in Indonesia and make certain decisions went his way.

I'm certain John does'nt come close to beating any of the mini-fab four in neutral territory!

Why has'nt John-Salido been made? Salido tear John apart limb from limb in neurtal territory, thats why!:deal:bbb:yep
