Seriously... he's lost how many fights as of resent?:huh After Rampage knocked his ass out for the 2nd time Chuck has been a shell of his former self i think..

But what do you MMA experts think? Im more of a Boxing guy so i could be wrong here.

Chuck looked HORRIBLE, he's done, stick a fork in him. He had a great career and is a legend, time to stop.

The man is almost 40 he's had a great career and has done tons for the sport and the UFC but his time is up, it's just too bad he has to go like this.

He's got no chin, and he compounds that by refusing to adjust his style.

I mentioned it in another thread, last night confirmed it, we saw a guy who from the outside looked like Chuck, but had pellets of a shotgun coming out of him

I think Chuck could be competitive fighting lower level guys, but Chuck has been a champion and one of the faces of MMA on the MTV and on TV shows, no one really wants to see him get his face beat so i am going to have to go for retire.

Although if he wasn't Chuck and a similar fighter i wouldn't say he should continue to fight, Randy had a second win at 42. I just think it's sad when ex champions get humiliated for no reason, its sad for the sport.

chuck was great for a long time but age seems to have caught up to him and i think its time for him to move into color comentary for the sport or for training younger fighters that way he can still be around and be relevant in the sport he loves so much

Very true... He was said to be working on keeping his hands up, particularly his left hand but he didnt show much improvement. He kept his hands low as usual...

Hes never had defense but in his prime he could take a decent shot look at the 1st Rampage fight or the Overeem fight. At 40 your punch resistance is never going to be very good anymore.

I think he's lost his durability, power and timing/reflexes. He's lost a little in each just like Roy has. Unfortunately these guys lived on their timing, power and reflexes. Without them they are not much. However they are good enough to be top 10. Just like Roy got the Ajamu, Tito and Sheika win, Liddel can and has done the same with the likes of Silva. It's evident Liddell, like Roy, will never recapture his peak form.

That fight reminded me of Diaz-Shamrock, Frank was clearly slower and weaker in that fight and you could tell it was just a matter of time. Same with Chuck last night he was clearly slower and weaker and I knew he would lose the fight.

Its a damn shame that we have to see on of the biggest main stream faces go out like this, but i think it is about that time to start thinking about opening up his own gym and training the next generation of Mixed Martial Artists.

hmm says.... was never really impressed with the iceman.. i see him more as a street fighting brawler and not a complete fighter that UFC makes most of their fighters to be.
