I'm glad he talked his s*** back to Charlo to show him he better not think he won't rebuttal, Question is when has Charlo ever not said something very disrespectful practically when the fighter is not black, he has no class.
To me, i thought Canelo did well against Ryder, who beat Jacobs, Smith, and parker. The Smith win wasn't official, but he still won. I think Canelo's stamina in the last 2-4 rounds is his weakest point. That showed in all three of his last three fights.
personally I always felt it was mid fight it seems like rounds 1-6 he comes out fast slows down rounds 6-10, then catches a second wind rounds 10-12, a lot of Canelo close fights I thought he pulled out in the championship rounds
I agree but let's not get carried away. Might have been at the end of a long training session and focusing on power rather than snap.
I clearly said Jermall, who was originally the one supposed to fight Canelo. Instead his smaller brother is.
Think about it, GGG was 3 years older than Canelo is now when they first fought. And GGG still beat his ass, imagine a 35 yr old Canelo vs a 27 yr old GGG
If anything he looks out of shape, and cold. If that’s the end or middle of a proper workout, there is cause for concern. Probably a getting back into the gym recording, where everything is laboring and basically a warm-up for the following day(s). The sessions will continue to get gradually more intense until fight week. It’s a good way to avoid injuries.
The examples you’ve chosen cover very long periods of time Canelo’s drop has been more pronounced and over a much shorter time frame He’s not shot, but he is close to being done at the top level. Can still have a few more fights at SMW though as the competition is almost non existent
Might wanna check your maths. GGG was 35 when he fought Canelo the first time. That's 2 years older than Canelo is now, and Canelo just turned 33 yesterday. GGG beat his ass? Might wanna check the results again. If we're talking about a 27 year old GGG vs a 35 year old Canelo, that would be 2009 GGG, which was before GGG was a world champ, vs Canelo two years from now. How would a young inexperienced GGG deal with a seasoned experienced Canelo? There's another problem for GGG - 35 year old Canelo two years from now would presumably be fighting at (at least) a weight class above GGG's weight class. So that would be a very inexperienced GGG fighting out of his weight class, against a very experienced and highly skilled fighter, who was much better than anyone GGG had faced. So you throw out this role reversal as to what would happened if the ages were reversed, a young inexperienced MW GGG would be up against it vs a SMW (or higher) 35 year old Canelo who probably will still be fighting at a high level in 2 years time. Whether or not he'll still be the SMW Undisputed Champ by then is anyone's guess, but he still has power and a hell of a chin, so it would be hard for GGG to KO him, whether he can outpoint him due to youth, though, maybe, but it's still a very competitive fight.
