Compubox should not be taken seriously to judge fight. It's a couple of guys pushing buttons and trying to keep track of world class boxers who are fast and can slip or parry punches at the last split second.

It's a basic guide, nothing more.

Its merely used to record blows landed, its not used for a tool to make winners in the fights. If somebody never watch a fight in full and just used that stat machine, they are just a casual fan/troll who are just trying to win an internet argument.

    Like if those stats said
    GGG jabs landed 12
    Canelo 0

    Power punches landed
    GGG 0
    Canelo 10

Most boxing fans with a clue will give that round to Canelo.
That never happened in this fight though, GGG landed his jab at will and hit his own power punches in between. If Canelo had a jab, and racked up some punches landed than he may of won the fight. He lost the fight because of GGG's jab, there's nothing more to add to that discussion. Not all this "effective aggression, controlling the ropes" or whatever bull**** that is.

I think people still think it is a computer, with super high tech features, like lasers and stuff to judge the punches, rather than just two guys who are tapping buttons.

    No.

The McGregor vs Mayweather fight was a great example. In some rounds, McGregor landed more shots, but Mayweather landed the CLEARLY more punishing shots.

At the end of the day, it's a fight.
