The mosley that TBE fought came off a Huge win against the guy that made cotto quit making that mosley TBE fought the better version

Mayweathers toughest fight was cotto i will give you that, he had issues with cotto jab and manny said cottos jab is the best in boxing

This sealed the deal for him being an all time great for me

no idea why you listed a bunch of wins over C and B level opponents as if it has any relevance in determining if a fighter is great or not. any top 50 atg between 140-160 would either stop cotto or win by wide UD, so no not an atg.

ATG is a very prestigious category. I have no set list, but my guess is that it is probably around the top 40, top 50 fighters ever. Although everyone has their own criteria.

Yes. To win the middleweight crown was the last piece of the puzzle. Don't care how he did it, he did it.

I consider Cotto to be a "very good" fighter. Not in the "great" category, so definitely not an ATG. Among active fighters, the only fighters I consider ATGs are Pacquiao, Mayweather, and Hopkins. Maybe Marquez if you are being generous, but I'd probably put him as a "great" and not "All-time Great". There's a difference.

The 4 divisional thing has to be put into context. It was kind of annoying listening to all this stuff about "the first Puerto Rican to win world titles in 4 divisions". Look at the situations and opponents in how he won those titles.

He won the vacant WBO 140 lb. title, against Kelson Pinto.

He won vacant WBA/WBO belts at 147, by beating Carlos Quitana and Michael Jennings. And he won the title at 154 by beating Rabbi Foreman.

His 4 divisional title thing is far inferior to what Wilfredo Benitez did in 3 divisions. He beat lineal champ Antonio Cervantes (ATG), lineal champ Carlos Palomino (HOF), and Maurice Hope (very good fighter). In an era with 2 recognized titles instead of 4.

He is an ATG by way of what he has achieved no doubt that's why I voted yes.

However if we put he ranked with boxing skills, being an A+ fighter he would be very far down the pecking order but still would be ATG on the fringes.

If he beats canelo and GGG then won a rematch with May I would says he has a better chance to be considered one

    An ATG - possibly.

    GGG - not even close.
