No offense bro but what kind of fu¢king idiot bashes Cotto's last few years, while praising GGG in another thread when Cotto's last 6 years are better than his whole career.

Cotto is a 4-Division Champ, a HOFer. An ATG PR fighter, what the hell does he have to prove?

should he win in a few weeks his MW resume will consist of.

Martinez the long running MW King and legit MW Champ.

Geale a former unified MW Champ

    And Alvarez former JMW Champ.

He'll have the best resume at MW and is the only Champ at MW who beat a champion for a title, catchweights or not Cotto is the only real Champion at MW.

Of course Cotto is down, if Canelo batters him then he has been battered, if he wins he will look a coward and get abuse if he doesn't fight another middleweight called Golovkin and if he does fight that other middleweight he will be battered.

Not great options for him really.

He has to prove that he is still relevant. All his achievements are 6+ years old.

Martinez was crippled. Geale was out of his prime, forced to cut 3 extra pounds and demoralized. Beating Canelo would be his biggest achievement in the last 6 years, but it would be at Cottonello weight.

Won the MW Title last year and beat GGGs best win this year in a tune-up fight, is now fighting in the biggest fight in boxing.

Cotto just used Golovkin best win as a tune up fight, and you want to compare achievements sounds like your just making excuses for why Cotto has a better MW resume than a career MW GGG.

Cotto is past prime. He was hit with bricks and completely obliterated by peak Pacquiao. He's 35 and shop worn. So of course he's not as good as he once was.

First of all, Geale wasn't Golovkin's best win. Second of all, Cotto forced him to cut additional 3 pounds.

Cotto would never dare to face Lemieux at 160, and if he did, he would get killed.

Well Cotto's last two wins were against war torn weight drained shell and a war torn cripple once great fighter, maybe the reality is hitting Cotta he's not in there with someone he'll not have some form of a advantageous handicap to work with.
