    My mistake! :good

I read quickly and missed your clearly stated qualifier.

All the same, I still disagree with the spirit of your post, in that I don't think there's any shame in having lost to Pac and Floyd over that span, and those were obviously his 2 biggest fight over that stretch.

What's he supposed to say? He's been here before. He doesn't have anything to prove. And losing to Floyd and Pac and being the consumate pro for 14 years seems like he's had the right morale for a long time. He will be in the H.O.F.

Canelo will eventually fight GGG, even if it's not right after the Cotto fight (and Canelo wins).

Canelo will fight anyone. I think he's proven that.

    Cotto won't fight GGG.

I think it's better for the sport if champions will fight other champions, rather than having guys who will duck out on big fights in their own division.

i like cotto but here's the truth...he LOST to ssm, trout and clottey. he CHEATED judah. to me paulie wasn't a big fight at all....i agree that margo cheated, but still not sure cotto would have won the first fight.

i'm picking cotto to lose to canelo...and i'm not even a canelo fan. it will be a very close, competitive fight though...

Who cares if Cotto "ducks" GGG, GGG ducks too. Let he without duckin' cast the first stone.

I agree with this, should be a good fight though. Cotto's wins were on the political side. In this fight it's not in his favor.

    :deal

cotto got a lotta breaks in his career...the ssm fight especially was a bad decision. but as canelo showed in the trout, floyd and lara fights, canelo WILL get any benefit of the doubt...

the post-fight debate is gonna be interesting, especially when canelo wins a close decision...boxing politics is gonna overshadow this fight.
