No. After the Chavez fight fell through, he said he couldn't get motivated to fight any of the potential replacements like Vanes or Cintron.

He's going to wait until next year and see what opportunities are there.

It's easier to motivate sometimes for a fight that you now that you are going to win. Moreover if you can kick the ass of a Mexican that is train by Roach

 

I know what you're saying - I thought it was pretty funny that he views Cintron as a lesser opponent than Chavez. I guess it shows you that fighters have about the same level of respect for him that most fans do.

I guess Cotto thought the Chavez fight would be a big event and would attract more fans.
