WTF - he's just lost to the best fighter on the planet, and this means he is finished?

Dude, have you forgotten that he beat Clottey, a fighter that people have ducked left, right and centre only a matter of months ago.

    Get a grip man.

It's not just because he lost, it's because he got beat senseless. He barely beat Clottey and got beat up in that fight as well. We all know what Margo did to him. And speaking of Clottey, who the hell ever ducked him? Maybe Berto, but that's about it.

Here's the thing: Cotto showed in the first few rounds that he has world class ability.

Here's the problem: He's in the best division in boxing.

Will he ever get another title? That's certainly possible, as getting a title is always possible for any good fighter since there are so many, but I doubt he'll ever be regarded as the very best anymore.

He'll win another title. Cotto should get a new trainer and rematch Margo.

Cotto has been in a ton of action fights: Ndou, Torres, Mosley, Margo, Clottey, and even Judah and now Pacman. The cumulative effect on his body has got to be incredible and with that in mind, he should step aside. However, look for him to return on HBO for a minor belt in 2010.

No,I just saw the fight and he was actually winning the majority of the early rounds,But he kept getting caught and gettin knockdown 2x

Cotto just couldent deal wit Mannys speed and movement,But I say maybe it time for a new trainer possibly Emanuel Stewart..Cotto is a hell of a fighter and talented, all because hes been knockout 2x doesnt mean is the end for him

Just look at Pacquaio, hes been knocked out 2x,but he got a new trainer,he improved and now look at the legend he is today

So No Cotto def not done,Cotto can still come back and have a successful career

cotto isnt finished he may have lost to best pound for pound fighter in the world and one of the greatest fighters of this generation but despite taken a beating at least he managed to last longer than pacquiaos last 3 opponents which include the likes of Oscar Delahoya , Ricky Hatton and David Diaz.

Cotto is not done, Pac was the better fighter. Although I dont think it would've changed the result of the fight, he needs to get a new trainer.

No,there you could be wrong...I believe if Cotto had a very experienced trainer on his side,The fight could have possibly been way more competitive and closer then just the 1 sided beating we saw 2 days ago

now Im not saying Cotto would had defeated PAC

But im just saying its not of the question

Not too many fighters can come back from severe beatdowns, and imo Cotto didn't look as if he came back 100% from the first Beatdown he received.

I say Cotto's elite days are over.
