Fighters lose then get up and carry on, always have and always will. He still has plenty to offer.

Seems clear to me: lack of a solid right hand, which is the cornerstone of any orthodox offense vs a southpaw.

Well, it will be nice to get that Jacory dude out.

BOT, I believe Cotto hasn't been the same since the Margarito fight, but he was still good enough to be near the top of 147. After the Pacquiao fight I don't know how much left he has, especially, at 154. I think he will beat Foreman, but I don't think he can be a force at 154.

Jacory is too much of a troll to take the bet :yep

And I agree with Fan88, he is so left hand dominant, he needs work on his right hand

Oh I know it, NBA. Just being a little ridiculous back. Dudes want to say silly things, they get silly back. Funny story, though, about the Cotto/ Judah fight. I'll PM it to you.

Ironically, you could say the same thing about Mosley's career. Being willing to fight the best and etc. Also after two loses people called him over and he went to 154 and beat Oscar down the line, so maybe Cotto could do something similar, but Mosley lost to Wright twice, hopefully Cotto doesn't have two more loses coming at 154.

Have a feeling we will soon hear about Cotto vs De La Hoya, the fight makes sense, mexico vs puerto rico, Cotto defending the 154 belt, De La Hoya going out with a bang. I wouldn't mind seeing that fight, would be a tough fight for both

Cotto will whoop Foreman easy. People are so quick to count boxers out. He lost to brickfist and the best fighter in the world, how in the world does that constitute shot?

Well no his career is not over... but he is not elite anymore.

I think his punch resistance is gone though. I really do.

    Hmmm DLH vs Cotto? :huh

Top Rank really would kill Golden Boy den and I don't mean the company lol. That fight would put Miguel back in Tito's shadow, but hopefully he can do better than Tito did eventhough Tito won.

Yea but Cotto would hae to get a couple of good wins though before people go for this though. I mean look at the thread were in. He has to prove he's not shot(which now i think bout it he probably isn't.) before he gets a money fight like that eventhough he'll win.;)

No, but he's getting close. He should have enough left in the tank to comfortably beat Foreman, but after that he should either get out to end on a high note or take one last big payday and go. For about the last six years or so he's consistently been in wars or tough fights, (with a few obvious exceptions like Gomez, Jennings, etc) and it will take a toll on his long-term health if he keeps doing it.

I'd hate to see that happen because Miguel seems like a very cool and stand-up guy.
