Ofcourse Cotto is smarter than Margarito? Cotto edges him in all aspects. Should be a great fight though.

That's a poor attempt at manipulating my post into "Caper thinks Cotto is God"

Of course he's vunerable, every fighter has their flaws. As far as favoring Mosely....I never said you favored the Sugarman I just mentioned the fact that your analysis of what went on in the last couple of rounds leans more towards opinion rather than fact. Fact is Cotto outboxed Mosely and countered extremely well.....opinion Cotto ran got trapped and avoided confrontation.....conveinent amnesia, you know the procedure.

Watch the tape. At least the 11th round I can attest to. And did Mosley not land that same uppercut throughout the entire fight? I am pretty sure he did.

    Margarito only has one gear.

Cotto fights in rhythm all the time, he's synced like any other elite fighter throughout history, I believe Cotto will outbox him 8-4/10-2 or something like that.

Na dude I don't need to watch the tape, I've seen the fight plenty of times and each time I come up with the same conclusion, Mosely was outboxed and made to look desperate, flustered and somewhat confused for at least 60% of the fight. If Mosely's consistant connection of the uppercut helps you sleep at night then so be it, either way it doesnt justify your belief that Cotto struggled towards the end of his bout with Mosely.

Didn't say he struggled. I just stated that he looked the same Cotto to me from round 1 till round 12. I saw Mosley land the same punches throughout. That's all I was saying.

I think he is the smarter fighter out of the 2. I think we will see Cotto use his brain a lot in this fight while I think Margarito thinks he can win this fight on coming forward and punch output alone, which he may be able to.

Don't worry both Margo and Cotto are sure to resemble something "ugly" after their bout....I'm guess a couple cutz, bruises and a good amount of swelling will come to frutition...:!:

Margarito is smart enough to know his best chance of winning is to make it as much of a "fight" as possible.

Cotto simply has better "boxing" skills, doesnt make him "smarter".

Margarito isnt a very smart fighter. He has no Plan B when the fight isnt going his way. Cotto does. Margarito has shown this weakness in both the Clottey and Santos fights.

Margarito adjusted and put more pressure on Clottey and beat him clearly.

Santos was headbutt shortened fight that lead to a hometown decision for Santos.

AM made the mistake of starting too late with PW and paid the price, I dont see him making that same mistake again.
