He beat poor Martinez for his title now Cotto has to step up and fight the 154's

He took the title now he should defend it against a legit deserving opponent in GGG!!!

Alvarez was pressured to fight the winner of the Cotto/Trout fight by the public which he eventually did and that fight scored him a payday against Mayweather. That's what Alvarez did last year.

GGG sounds about right.. He shouldn't get Mayweather for beating up on poor Martinez

Yes, we all know that bruh. Before Canelo decided to fight Angulo, he offered Cotto a fight and Cotto declined to pick on one legged Martinez

Yeah because fighting Alvarez coming off a loss to Mayweather would be far bigger than attempting to make history by taking on the Middleweight champion.

Cotto-Canelo would be a crowd pleasing fight that would sell like crazy and line both fighters' pockets immensely. Makes all the sense in the world.

GGG needs to get a win against a live body before people will pay to see him.

Can't say it wasn't a smart move by Cotto, but making history against a one legged fighter? :verysad

True. The only fight out there not involving May/Pac that can generate 1mil+ buys. Both are PPV headliners themselves, its rare that 2 PPV stars meet up. Both would be "A-side".
