Is Cotto the most dangerous fighter Pac ever face?

That is a spot on analysis. Cotto has never had a problem getting himself motivated for a bout. And all this talk of him being the underdog and Pacquiao as P4P #1 ready to show the boxing world he can beat anyone out in front of him.

Cotto should be properly motivated to train and come fight night let loose everything he has on Pacquiao.

I'm not ready to outright predict a winner. However, I do think that with all the "pro wrestling" type crap that's been going on, Cotto will be a VERY dangerous man come fight night.! What the hell is a "Diamond Belt?" I think this stuff is getting under Miguel's skin, and will ultimately make him more determined than ever. I can't see a super determined Cotto as anything but dangerous!

When talking about power yes, also Cotto has some good underated boxing skills, good jab and adapts at times very well, esp. when he goes southpaw. I seen Manny get stun with JMM left hook and Barreras right hand which didnt seen to be with full force when the ref was breaking them apart and Manny didnt take it well. So he must be very careful with Cotto.

Yes, I think 80% of the board has never watched a Clottey fight before this match. They forget that this was the boxer who was comfortably beating Margarito before he hurt his hand, and even then managed to hang in there. Clottey is a tough fight for any welter. He'd give Shane all sorts of problems as well.

If Cotto goes in there well trained and determined he could be the most dangerous Pac has faced so far. That said, the fights with Barrera, Morales and JMM were pretty dangerous fights too. But if Cotto comes in at 100%, then theoretically he will be the most dangerous opponent in Pacman's career.

 

Before the fight, Dela Hoya was considered the most dangerous... Hoya was a 2 to 1 favorite to defeat Pacquiao... Barrera was a 4 to 1 favorite to defeat Pacquiao in their 1st fight...

Cotto?? Pacquiao is installed right now as 2 to 1 favorite to defeat Cotto... Same when Pacquiao was 2 to 1 favorite to defeat Hatton...

cotto is with a doubt the best-rounded fighter pac has faced. he is very quick and strong (morales, barrera and jmm don't compare in that regard), plus he has been in with some real strong fighters. I give him the edge in this fight. If pac does beat him it will be a tremendous win for pac, as pac is not that good of a boxer.

 

Yes Cotto is the most dangerous for Pac he probably has the better jab of the division remember is a converted left hand fighter so the power is on the left. Very patient he has learned to pace himself we will find out what Pac has in the bag when he face this young powerful welter.

 

nope, but he does have a lightning fast jab from an orthodox stance. and that's because he's a lefty fighting like a right hander that's why his jabs so fast and strong. i think cotto's right up there with jmm or maybe slightly abit more dangerous

 

Arum and Roach only took this fight because they felt that Cotto is vulnerable so in terms of strategy, they don't feel that he's the most dangerous.
