Cotto is the real deal, for sure. He is a very skilled and mentally tough fighter. He is deceptively fast and has some of the best timing I've seen in some time.

He is already a very, very good fighter and looks like he could become an all-time great. I'm excited to watch him going forward.

Cotto fights anybody who's placed in front of him . . . and came out victorious so if he continues to fight great competitions . . . he is the real deal. :yep

He is without a doubt the real deal. Forget all the great punches he brings to each fight, his best quality is his mentality. Resolute and ready, always. Nothing deters him in the ring.

He's a very good fighter but come on, all time great? he's not talented enough. He barely beat a way past his prime 36 years old Mosely (still a very good win for sure).
Cotto doesn't carry the same knockout power he had at 140, altough his legs are better at 147. He didn't knock down Mosely and Urkal and only knocked down glass jaw Zab at the 11th. I'm not sure at all that he can hurt big guys like Margarito and Williams. We'll see.

    The man said..

On that note I agree. He seems to have all the tools atm. Big fight composure. Power. Deceptive speed. Ability to box as well as pressure.
Counter punch ability while on the back foot . Chin seems alot better with the added weight. Excellent recouperative powers when he is hurt.

All that is needed now is some fights and time to season him.

I think he definately CAN become a ATG.

    Will he?

    Time will tell.

Go back to school boii and consult your teacher what "looks like he could become an all-time great" implies.

Then you can go back here and argue. :yep
