Is Cotto too self assured or is it just arrogance?

He made an incredibly difficult choice. He's clearly not scared of making those decisions, so he's obviously not a yes man.

I don't think I outlined anything like what you're saying. Evangelista was a negative presence who was stopping Cotto from feeling focused and prepared. He fired him. Sounds smart if you know how you work best.

Cotto is rarely arrogant. Everytime he talks to Brian Kenny, he is always respectful to his opponent. I have never heard him say "I'm going to rip his head off" or "I'm going to KO him in 4". Usually he just says "I am going to train hard and be prepared for this fight."
The dude is usually very classy.
