Is Cotto vs Mayweather another set up match ?

The only reason Floyd scheduled this fight was to stay out of jail. Unfortunately for Floyd, he couldn't find a patsy in time and had to pick Cotto - a dangerous fighter - in time to get the Nevada State Boxing Commision to grant his Boxing License for the May 5 fight and keep him out of jail.

In fact, Floyd waited until the night before he had to meet the Commision to sign the contract with Cotto - so I'm pretty sure Cotto's people used Floyd's desperation to chump Floyd on the conditions of the fight. When I heard about the fight being signed, I couldn't believe it - I figured Floyd would never take on a prime Cotto - especially considering the fighters Floyd has chosen ion the past.

Like I said - I still can't believe Floyd is getting into the ring with Cotto and I keep looking for a way for Floyd to "Duck Out" of a real showdown. Floyd's been ducking for over 10 years - he ain't gonna stop now. "Oh my hands!"..."Oh may shoulder!" I just keep wondering what it's to be.

 

And when he beats the **** out of Cotto, it's because Cotto is all of a sudden shot, right?

 

Which one of these mindless conspiracy theories will come next? My favourite is the Twin Towers were blown up from within. That one always makes me chuckle.

Mayweather picked Cotto because he was the best opponent available.
It was the same opponent that Pac wanted.
Mayweather offered him more money.
Cotto/Mayweather will draw much bigger than Bradley/Pac.
