Crawford is older, inactive and a slightly smaller man but we know Canelo has more milage, has been on the decline for a few years now and hasn't scored a KO in 4 years. Is Crawford swooping in to take those belts because he senses Canelo is on his last legs and near retirement ?

Prime Canelo has a good chance at beating Crawford but todays Canelo might be too shot to take on the task and his low level opposition is masking the decline. I think Bud likes what he sees, an overhyped champion that's past his best and stylistically tailor made for him, just like Floyd vs De La Hoya

    Crawford by split decision

He certainly thinks he is. That's why the fight was dead in the water until Canelo looked like ass against Scull. But the joke's on him.

Nah, I think he’s just cashing out. He himself never had much interest in it until post Spence when people wouldn’t let it go. This fight was built off of internet hype, not because it’s a good fight on paper.

Despite Canelo being old, he’s still divisions above Crawford.

No, Canelo cashed out. He knew his time at SMW was up. In the end, he is just a blown up superwelter who survived at SMW by cherrypicking and ducking legit contenders.

Too many people are worried about the “No excuses” clowns. It was pretty obvious that Canelo was washed after seeing the first few rounds. I’m not sure why people have a problem admitting this. It was a far cry from the Canelo that fought GGG, BJS and Plant.
