Crawford just doesn't have the opposition, not even comparable to Oscar, Trinidad and others of the era.

H2H, Bud figures pretty strongly and, while he'd be a tough outing amongst the contenders, I can't see him winning the title. Nor beating the higher-end contenders. He probably would be in the lower end of the top ten.

Spence is at least Tito, Oscar, and Verbon level. I would favor him against prime Ie honestly

No he's not he's only fought one dude that mattered and destroyed him.

    That's it. One big fight.

Oscar, Tito, Whitaker, Quartey, Mosely, Forrest & many others from that era had many big fights and proved their worth.

I didn't think much of Bud's competition before Spence and I didn't think much about Spence's performance against Bud - he looked flat, not sharp at all.

Right now, from whom Crawford has fought throughout his career, I'd rate him at the level of say, a Maurice Blocker-type.

Skill wise yes, but his resume still weak compared to whst it should be. Spence win surely helped.

Although Bud Crawford proved his mettle as champion last Saturday, he needs a few more big fights to cement his legacy and earn his stripes, to be compared with the upper echelon of boxing's greats from the past.
