Is current Wladimir better than the Wladimir who lost to Sanders?

wlad got caught in the inside against sanders for the mere fact he was trying to throw hooks.and we all know with that reach using them kinds of shots on the inside is a recipe for disaster..wlad now dosnt give up his height like he did against sanders and before sanders aswell..he uses his physical advantages which would give sanders no chance plus now with his incredible punching power ability to pick shots and great footwork sanders would take a beating and be stopped..he wasnt good enough to fight a technician....

have you heard wlads thoughts when he talks about the sanders fight??he says at the time he was saying to himself who does he think he is doing this to me....that to me sounds like an arogant man who took someone to lightly and for obvious reasons that his team back then where thick as ****ing chomp..i mean you just need to look at the brewster loss to know that..

Your points are fair and reasonable, although I'm a little less certain than you are about his chances in a hypothetical rematch with Sanders. Historically, the winner of the first fight tends to win the rematch too. Anyway...with the current style Wlad would be harder to get out of there, for sure. He's more aware of his shortcomings now, making him more mindful of them, and has adjusted his style accordingly.

It's difficult to argue a hypothetical fight one way or the other, since of course it'll never happen now. All I'm saying is that I don't know for sure if he's actually better now...he may be, or he may not be.
It would have been interesting to see what would have happened had there ever been a rematch, or an opponent that really could test Wlad. I don't see anyone on the horizon at present.

The second paragraph can be interpreted in a variety of ways, I think. As I said earlier, Sanders was given no chance by most. Of course Wlad would believe he was going to win. That doesn't necessarily mean Wlad took him lightly though.
Wlad strikes me as a thorough professional who is not one to slack off in training or come into a fight unfocussed. He was the champ after all, and fighting a guy who was dangerous early for pretty much anyone.

I don't suppose it matters one way or the other anymore...

i dont agree with winners of the first fight usually win the second one..are you saying wlad would not beat purrity and he already beat brewsters ass aswell..always being in shape and being prepared for a fight is a completly different thing friend its clear as day wlas team where idiots..look at purrity defeat for christs sake..anyway in my opinion wlads tkos sanders with this style but i do admit it would be a complete jab fest for the first 3-5 rounds..wlad gave up all his advantages before manny and got some losses cause of it..with him hes been outstanding at using them..:thumbsup
