Is Curtis Cokes still training Kirk Johnson?

    I was around Dallas/FtWorth at the time and I watched Curtis Cokes train both Kirk Johnson and Ike Ibeabuchi. Both could have been champions, both really let Curtis down for different reasons.
    Though not in good shape by any means Kirk was giving John Ruiz all he wanted and more. But he couldnt fight 2 men Ruiz and referee Joe Crooked Cortez. Ruiz deserved an oscar for his acting performance Cortez deserved to lose his referee licence.
    As for Ike ?? If only he hadnt called that hooker that night in vegas he'd have taken the mantle from Lennox and reigned supreme
    Curtis is a great guy and a great trainer I wish him every success with his Home of Champions gym

    If I recall correctly, and I may not, he got $3 million for a five fight contract with Duva. I think Duva lost on the deal. He also would have made money in a number of fights up to that point, but I don't know if the roll up would have been that signfiicant.

    If you have $2 million in the bank at 5%, that's $100k per year. That's more than most families have to live off of. Depends what he's been spending, I guess. I'm sure Northend and Ralphie would know one way or the other.
