Promoting by it's nature attracts the more arrogant personalities, and such types have a higher propensity than average of being dickheads..............so to answer the OP, yes maybe he is, but that really goes with the territory.

the thing that i don't like about him is the way he say ****, he says it too much.
what i mean is, he'll say it far too much just in the one sentence. like when he was talking to mike tyson.
its as if he simply has no idea how to use the word at all. the amount of times he says it makes him look like he's trying to appear hard or something.

i feel both ways about him. he is great for promoting the sport and if the ufc puts on a bad fight (anderson silva vs demian mia) he will come out and say it was bad and he didnt defend silva even though he is a big fighter for the ufc or when a decision goes the wrong way he will come out and tell it like it is. he also seems to organise alot for fans, meeting the fighters and q&a's at events and stuff like that. however i dont like the way he dosnt rate fighters that arnt in the ufc. not too long ago he made a video saying overeem wasnt a top 10 heavy. i know he has to talk up the ufc fighters but the dude should give respect to fighters that are top level and might be in the ufc in the future.

 

I sometimes like him and other time I dont. That goes with all promoters though.

 

He's a used car salesman and is great for promoting HE's brand. Dana doesnt give a **** about MMA. All he cares about is the UFC.
