Is Danny Jacobs a real world champion who deserves better than 25/75 against GGG?

Of course he's not a real world champ. He's simply the top contender to 3g's

 

30% max should be good enough. He's only the Regular champ thus making him the mandatory. He shouldn't expect much more than that.

 

Not even a number 1 contender.

Golovkin is the real number 1 contender.

This is why I hate the multitude of belts floating about.

 

I hear that. And can agree to an extent. The way I see it though, what else does Jacobs have going for him at 160? If not 3G, then whom? Saunders? Doubtful. This sort of goes back to the PBC overpaying their fighters thread. Jacobs, whom I love, is in no position to make any demands. And personally, I don't think he's actively interesting in the fight anyway. It's there is he wants it, but we're getting a lot of push back from PBC on this fight. Sort of tells me otherwise.

 

It sucks for Danny but truth is he doesnt deserve more than 25%. I would've give him 40% in a blink of an eye if he would've been a bit more known in NYC and had a solid fan base.
Should've stayed more active at least, twice a year aint gonna do it ( same as for all young hungry lions)

 

I doubt GGG wants Jacobs scalp that much. If I we're Team Golovkin, seeing how Team Jacobs aint sure that they ready, I'd save the money and I'd offer BJS that amount plus more to stage the unification fight in march/april in London. But the gipsy probably feels even less confident than Jacobs.
At least he'll enjoy his couple of weeks of fame with the huge hype that will be created in the UK.
Where as if he fights Canelo in Vegas, he'd still get well beaten, belt taken and no buzz around him...he'll come as a nobody and he'll leave as a nobody

 

Both of these guys are the best in the very dead MW division, and that's not saying a lot.
Because Golovkin has more titles, he should receive the lion share of the purse, even though he hasn't ever fought any real A level opponents.

Because both are literally bums, the split should be 60/40, in favor of the King Of the MW bums, Golovkin.

 

Well, now there are expectations that the fight will now be held in March. So maybe everything is starting to fall into place?

 

I thing GGG should've given him 65/35. He needs a decent fight. If Jacobs doesn't take the fight, he should try Curtis Stevens. My guess is Curtis knocks him out.

 

Remember back in 2010 when it was set up for him to get the WBO 160 title and they wrongfully cherry picked Pirog because they thought he was the standard Upright Russian punching bag? The judges had anny up on the cards even though he was getting his ass kicked by Dmitry before the knockout. Well his confidence is gone after that fight and while GGG is no slick fighter like P he is a knockout artist and Jacobs is cashing in his chips. We have to see if this goes to bid or not but it's the business of boxing that kills it for these guys. Jacobs has been in boxing since 2007 and he still ain't ****.

 

that fight was hilarious ,the look on the WBO presidents faces when danny got knocked out was abject horror

 

He beat Quillin. 35% and no more. 25% is a ****en insult.
