Is Danny a real world champion who deserves a better split ?

  1. Yes, the Regular champ is legit, 25/75 is despicable

Eddie Hearn mugged CEJ and blamed it on his old man, how come they never saw a contract?

The correct answer is because it had Kell Brooks names on it!

Forget the belts for a minute, Quillin is the best scalp between their resumes and Pirog the best fighter. Jacobs has paid his dues and more. This is a man that has bounced back from the brink of death.

25% is the bare minimum Jacobs deserves, 30-40% seems a lot fairer to me, especially considering the extra PPV numbers he would bring. Golovkin-Jacobs would smash the 97-150k the Lemieux fight did.

Contender is the word that puzzles me. Why is he considered a contender?

Maybe the mando going rate should be above 25% but then you have some mando that ain't worth 10% so I just don't know TBH:abduction:

Because I think he would be a legitimate contender to the championship

Go watch some stockbroking show if you care about the boardroom. It's fine to want to get paid, but there's a line crossed that suggests it's more of pricing one'self out. It's a tactic to make it look like you want the fight, but really have no intention. Most articles I'm seeing are pointing to that for Jacob's reluctance to fight.

GGG is a media darling if it was a Floyd or a Ward doing these hard ball negotiations they would get called out on it.

It's total hypocrisy because GGG is fresh off a bum fight against a guy 2 divisions too small with 1 decent win in his life.

Why does GGG get passes when he hasn't had a decent fight in his life, don't point the finger at Jacobs because GGG has never signed a decent fight in his life he must clearly be the issue!

No he doesn't deserve it but GGGs team may have to give him a little more to secure the fight on HBO. Hopefully the purse bid happens soon though. If they aren't going to agree in 120 days theres no use in delaying it any longer. Let Jacobs take the 25% and let GGGs team run the risk of the fight happening on another network. Purse bids are in place for this exact reason.

How the **** does Lemmy with a minimal fanbase, paper title and shitty resume get 40 percent yet the number 2 middleweight in the world after GGG deserves 25%?

Jacobs is pricing himself out, he is stalling and just using this as an excuse not to fight Golovkin.

And what passes? Do you read these boards? Golovkin gets blamed for everything, I've seen so many threads about other fights and other fighters and somehow Golovkin gets dragged in to the conversation and slaughtered for something.

Because he had 1 of the big 4 belts. Jacobs has only got the 2nd tier WBA belt.

If it's all about belts then why doesn't he do it for the lineal title? He's not likely to fight BJS for the WBO, Canelo moved down to 154 and the lineal is about become vacant. Jacobs is the number 2 middleweight in the world, who the **** else is GGG gonna fight? Lemmy literally got 43 percent of the purse despite winning a vacant belt against a weak contender yet Jacobs deserves 25 percent? Again, how does that make sense?

The boxer makes the belt, not the other way around. This is a fight against the 2 best middleweights in the world, not just a mandatory challenge.

Gennady Golovkin is THE Undidputed Undefeated World Middleweight Champion. Danny Jacobs is just a trinket holder like Canelo. Seems he's cut of the same cloth as Pollo Canelo & would rather face the embarrassment of giving up his trinket rather that face the beating he'd most likely get from Golovkin if he challenged him
You know when you really think about it All the GGG detrators & haters really RESPECT him as a Fighter
They say he should take on guys 15-20 pounds heavier to make a competitive fight. Makes their fav middleweights look kinda sad & pathetic doesn't it ?
