No doubt he's been our best for many years and his latest win shows he's not slowing down much at all.

IMO Geale has now closed the gap with his great win but it's still VIC :bbb

    Vic is still the best!

Geale deserves major kudos for going to Germany and getting the win but Vic has been fighting the best for a long time and his most recent win over Perez was particularly impressive!

I would have be second behind Geale only because of the legit title! If vic held onto the super fly unified titles he would still be uno!

    1. Vic (fighting the best for too long)
    2. Geale (has jumped up from about 5th spot)
    3. Green (hasn't been beat since Mundine 2006, holds mickey mouse belt but has a few big names under his belt)
    4. Katsidis (dropped down from no2 after 2 losses)
    5. Up for grubs (Mundine, Zappa Leapai etc a fair bit back in 5th spot)

Whilst I see your point Stiffy, titles don't add up to match these days! I think it comes down to CVs and Vics is pretty darn impressive!

If its CVs then its VIC, if its current titles held then its Geale.

    This :good

Geale will need to defend 2 or 3 times before he can overtake VIC....and thats provided VIC gets beat again

Yeah Vic has the opponents on his Resume, win or loss. And has never shyed away from a hard fight.

But Geale holds a major title, and you dont get much more major than the IBF MW title.
