Anyone that watched his career as it developed through the years was in for a real treat watching his fights. Tough as nails and an extremely under rated jab. And his accuracy was off the charts. A pleasure to watch at the time before & he was making all those title defenses. He had been in like 10 title fights before meeting Hill. Problem was american tv was not paying attention and hyping their own instead.

 

The Hill fight was on American tv though, and i became an instant fan of Michalczewki after that.

 

Wish Jones and Darius could have came to a deal and made it happen. That fight was one of the most talked about fights at the time, it sucks it never came to fruition.
