I'm not attacking you. I respect your opinion but I just can't understand how Haye's heavyweight campaign should have any bearing on what he accomplished at cruiser. It's pretty safe to assume that he'll be a heavyweight from now on so the criteria which we have to judge him by (unified champ, 20 wins at cruiser excluding Bonin, and excellent KO%) is already in the record books.

Well if you reread what i said, I did not say that his heavyweight campaign has any bearing on what he accomplished as a cruiser.

    I clearly said

"because on top of what he accomplished i also factor in how good he was at CW. What Haye accomplishes at HW can give a good idea of how good Haye really was as a CW."

So when you say that Haye's heavyweight campaign has no bearing on what he accomplished at cruiser, I'm with you 100%.

Right now I have Haye behind Holyfield, Toney, Qawi, Jirov, and Mormeck

I'm not sure that Toney's win over Jirov is really enough to justify him being a better cruiser than Haye. I would definitely rate Haye higher in an all-time cruiser list.

Holyfield, Gomez, Jirov, Carlos DeLeon.... Mormeck?

There are some great CW's, but really not many. Gomez and Jirov were both great fighters at the weight. Both suffer from not unifying, but both would start favourite against Haye in their respective primes I think. Prime Mormeck? 50-50 probably, but Haye did KO him, and would probably edge it. But Mormeck is up there for unifying all the belts. Holyfield, OBV is number 1 all time.

Haye is top 5 yeah. easily.

Hard to place him behind mormec as he went over to his own back yard and knocked him out, regardless of age etc.... Mormec was the champ defending in his own back yard and got ktfo.

Mormeck was knocked out but it wasn't exactly a whitewash. Haye also hit the canvas in that fight.

In my opinion both looked pretty sluggish on that night

I see where you are coming from, but he was undisputed champion. If it were not for bull**** strippings, he woulda had the IBF as well.

The only fighter left was Cunningham, and he was having difficulty making the weight.

Plus, isn't cleaning out HW (not saying he will, but that's his plan) more 'special'.

H2H i'm sure a case could be made for close to top5 (if not in). Based on accomplishments, no.

Bell!? That's a joke surely? One month after Haye beat Maccarinelli, Bell got knocked out by Adamek, yet you think Haye should have stayed around at CW to fight the loser of that fight?

Cunningham? Guy has a paper title, but who has he ever beaten? Guillermo Jones is still the most impressive name on his resume. If he does get around to actually fighting again (last fight was December 2007), maybe he can test himself against a higher level of opponent. He showed little interest in fighting Haye (which I don't blame him for one bit), only even mentioning Haye's name once he was sure he was definately going to heavyweight.

Where should David Haye be ranked in the UFC Heavyweight divsion for his victory over the unstoppable, destroyer, Undisputed Cruiserweight Champion Jean Marc Mormeck?

Haye claimed not only that he was going to unify all the Heavyweight belts, that he would beat any MMA fighter. Haye is going to prove the world right, by fighting the light punching, fat Kevin Johnson.

Cunningham has never had a problem making 200 lbs, he is still a world champ at the weight. I hope you mean Haye was having difficulties.
