That doesnt tell the whole story and if you have seen those fights you know exactly what I am talking about. 2 of those were **** poor fighters...Mormeck as I said has his own stamina issues and isnt a man who throws a lot of leather usually, plus I never really rated him anyway..And Fragomeni is alright but was giving him hell before the cut.

Haye gassed out bashing the **** out of Carl early on in the fight. He fights smarter and is more picky with his shots now...that does not mean his limitations have gone.
If a fighter comes along that can push him hard enough he will have issues again.

If anything the Abduol fight reinforced my viewpoint because in there he had a spoilng, defensive minded fighter and David was still content to throw **** all per round..I think because he knew what could happen if he worked any harder.

It's usually a sign that they were or are on roids. Steroids weaken the aorta...it weakens your entire cardiovascular system.

Wlad on the other hand has been fighting successive re-incarnations of William Wallace, Gengis Khan and Attila the Hun, complete with their full battle weaponry and armour with them.:good

Haye has never tested positive for roids...so I dont think he is on them.

That's not true...he looked very sluggish and not as quick against Barrett. He looked like he wasn't used to fighting with the added weight...he didn't seem as sharp as he usually does. He really should grow into this weight before taking on the elite of the division.

I said was or is...he could have used them in the past. Roids has a lasting damaging effect on athletes.

OMG...i can't believe you're still bringing up the Adamek comment...dude, if it makes you feel better...yes I think Haye ducked both Cunnigham and Adamek and is currently ducking anyone with a big punch and cashing in on one big fight in the Heavyweight division before he gets exposed for having a glass jaw...

    Happy?:D

Whether it's tactics, training or whatever, he seems to have learned to cope with his limitations. At heavyweight, I'd imagine most of his fights will beat a lower tempo than at Cruiser and I doubt he'll make the same mistakes as he did against Thompson.

I've heard Haye's walkaround weight is as high as 17st, that's probably BS but it's definately higher than the 14st 4lb Cruiser limit, it's an unkown if carrying the extra weight will adversley affect his stanima or if not having to kill himself to make the weight will help improve it.

One thing or sure is that there aren't many heavies out there right now (including either Klitschko,) that'll force the pace that much as to make it a major issue, without getting gassed themselves at least.

you're looking through rose colored lenses then...Iggy looked faster than that and Thompson looked like a better boxer.
