We have had Canadians winning championships on our behalf, we have fat little Manucunians fighting the best the world has had to offer coming up short.....will we have a genuine GREAT british fighter in David Haye?

I believe we havea real possibility, He is 27 highly marketable and he has what fans love..Brutal 1 punch power.

He also hasn't got the handicap that other excellent fighters like Calzaghe have had, a restrictive promoter.

Haye has a willingness to fight the best or as he puts it "throw the dice". Not only fight the best , go win world titles in hostile environments.

I hate bashing our fighters, but our most credible guy is Hatton, hes at least fought the best the world has had to offer, and he isn't our most talented.

Lets hope Haye who is vastly more talented can leap that extra hurdle.

I think Haye is the best of all the UK fighters I've seen, scratch that. Junior Witter is the highest legitimate British fighter followed by Haye.

As an American, I'd love to see Haye come over here and decimate all the flabby pretenders. Maybe he'll raise the bar and motivate some of these lazy heavys over here.
I'd especially love to see him expose all the pudgy Russians, and rid the world of the Klitchko's and Fatso Sam Peter.
