Are there any other reasons why certain posters treat you like the forum piñata or is a confrontational approach laced with latent stupidity merely enough? I am not your dictionary; if you do not know the definition of the word, may I suggest you look it up?
Why don't you just offer a realistic response smart guy. So, did I say ANYTHING about Cunningham being the best? No, I said he held the IBF title, therefore suggesting Haye was the undisputed CHamp isn't entirely eccurate. YOU ADDED that **** I never said, then answered your own portion of the post like a punk. You are the one who claimed all you need is the WBA/WBC to be undisputed, DESPITE recent history in the past 15-20 years showing it's been WBA/WBC/IBF that made you undisuted. Am I wrong there? Or have you just gotten into boxing, and really do not know? if you don't know, that's fine. But ASK questions and try to learn. So, can you offer a retort where you don't sound like a spoiled child? Or are you going to repsond with more of the same ****, posting styuff that I never even said?
How do you think Haye would fare against some of the great fighters at CW and the HW's of the late 80's-90's?
Enzo Mac didnt even win his title in the ring...Flank Whorrin handed him the title. Enzo Mac is one of theworst CW's in modern History. O'Neil Bell unfied the 3 major titles BEFORE Haye against the same shot to **** Mormeck Haye later faced. HW World Champion<<< yeah right only in the British media.
Why do you guys keep repeating this? Because someone else said it? Or are you too of the opinion, any three of the four makes you undisputed?
What I said is 100% correct, you seem to be mixing fact with opinion. The Hayete is strong, stating the ****ing obvious seems to be your strong suit. I know far more about both Holy & Haye than you do & what I said is 100% correct, that there have been 2 CW champions who have won a HW title. Deal with it.
You don't seem to get it, you've essentially simplified Holy's feat to include what Haye did. And that's not to take anything away, it's still a very good feat, but it's certainly NOT the same thing Evander Hlyfield did. I mean, you are aware of the difference between being a world champ, and a beltholder right? For ****'s sake, TODAY, there's 5-6 belts in each division guys can win to claim to be the champ.
not quite. Needs 1-2 more quality wins. He was lineal cruiser champ but only made 1 defense--that's not enough.
Indeed, it being a discussion forum and everything  The fact is that Holyfield and Haye are the only two CW champions to win a heavyweight title. My opinion is that this means absolutely jack **** in terms of Haye being HOF worthy. Bxong statistics are often meaningless in isolation. This is one of them. A relevant fact is that fighters from divisions below CW have decided to skip the division entirely and win a version of the heavyweight title. If the CW championship held significant prestige, Moorer and Jones wouldn't have jumped straight to heavyweight. Chris Byrd and Eddie Chambers wouldn't spend their professional careers fighting much larger fighters. When you break it down, Haye established himself as the best fighter in a very weak division, did not defend the championship (or defended once depending on your POV), and established himself as a top 5 heavyweight. It's a good record, but certainly not a great one. If you compared Haye's best wins to virtually any non-heavyweight HOF inductee, Haye would come up short.
